Does anyone have experience with the vocoder in the Axe3 (specifically)?
I'm noticing a LOT of the "analysis" signal is ending up mixed in with the carrier signal. I expect a little "S" frequencies to passthrough from the hi-pass mix, but this is passing quite a bit more than that.
Admittedly, I'm trying to do something weird, which is to use a drum track sound (rather than voice) as the analysis and the guitar sound as the carrier. I haven't tried it with voice yet. So I'm wondering if this is an issue I'm having for my application or if it's just part of the algorithm design.
