A friend of mine is trying to sell two old Marshall 15" cabs (2065 & 2065B) only made between1973 and 1975.
How would he go about finding the value of them?
 
No sure on those, as they aren't the normal "collector item" Marshall units. Maybe you can call a respected commercial source like Elderly Instruments to see if they can point you in the right direction.
 
Perhaps you can try the Vintage Gear price guide. It comes out annually. I have no idea if your particular equipment is in the guide, but it is pretty comprehensive. I did not buy one for this year, as I am not really buying any gear this year. Sorry.
