Video: Scar Symmetry solo cover! (Shred lead tone)

Hey dudes

I only recently got shown Per Nilsson's playing... gatdamn does he have some interesting phrasing and very smooth chops. I just had to try and cover some of his stuff!
I'm playing my Blackmachine B2, with a new set of pickups - Bare Knuckle Rebel Yell in the bridge, and a VHII in the neck. What wonderful sounding pickups, they dominate pretty much any style out there. I couldn't be happier with them.
The tone is coming direct from my Fractal Axe-FX Ultra, using the Brown amp model into the Redwire Marshall/Greenback cab IR.

Let me know what you think!

Damn, Nolly. I love SS and you totally nailed that. Great job, man!

Do you have a patch you use specifically for Scar Symmetry stuff? Care to share?

Regs,
Jeff

Thanks guys :D

Cheers Jeff!
I just use my regular lead patch, which is a BB preamp boost, into the Brown amp (most knobs at noon, gain and presence to taste, warmth parameter jacked up), then into one of the Marshall Greenback Redwire cabs, with the Royer R121 mic (I forget the placement).

Sounded awesome Nolly!!! Great tone!!!

I've been hooked lately on Scar's singer's new band Solution .45

Check them out if you get a chance. They are pretty freakin sick!

Cheers dudes :)
