Very loud static/distorted pink? noise after updating

I don't remember this happening on any other firmware, but after I upgraded to 7.0 and 7.03, before my Ultra resets itself, if I have it hooked up to my power amp and cabs, it emits and horrendous (and VERY LOUD) belch (the best way I can describe it) of noise, which sounds like static but also with tone/pitches to it.

Some info about how I'm running things, on the patch that's selected, I have an FX loop and I have output 2 (left and right) hooked up to my Carvin DCM600. Only one side of the Carvin is plugged into a guitar cab, the other side is turned all the way down (I asked Carvin about this and they said it'd be OK to do).

I'm not sure if what is in the preset matters, beyond connecting the input to the output blocks of the grid and the FX Loop block...

Has anyone else heard this? Both times it almost made me mess mah pants.
 
A sound like that comes out if you accidentally change the Input Source to Digital In via the 1st page of the I/O pages.

Probably not your problem though.
 
Were you able to fix the noise?
Did you have to re-do the firmware update?
I have the same issues after my update.
