I’m thrilled it grew on you and that you love it. Combating the fizziness was/is an ongoing battle. The earlier patches I made were much more fizzy, but like you said, some fizz is essential for cutting through. I don’t think I’ll ever be done tweaking this patch, but as of right now, this is as good as it’s ever been. Happy playingTried it out, and it grew on me a lot. As a bluesy/ 80s metal/thrash/ hard rock riffer first... initially it seemed a bit flubby and fizzy ( compared to the "round" & tighter tones I go for. Then I tried what passes for some "lead" playing for me Hot damn. Great sustain and width/depth. And if you listen to some isolated tracks, you are spot on. The album tones are fizzy too, that's why Ed always sliced through a mix. One of my fav presets now! Thank you sir
Thank you! I appreciate itThis sounds really good!
Of course! EnjoyAwesome stuff!!! Thanks for taking the time and sharing it!!!! WOOOO HOOOO!!!!!
Thank you so much for shaing! I'm importing into my FM9 w firmware 8.01. A few questions if you don't mind. Here's the patch with the 5150, Soldano, and Plexi amp preset's with the Detuning method. IMO, it's as close to F.U.C.K. and Balance as I've ever came. Refer to the last audio examples of what this sounds like. Use with FW27. Enjoy
Blank preset normally means you're on an earlier firmware version than the one the preset was made in. This preset requires FW 27.I'm having issues saving the preset to my axe fx III. It starts to load but then remains an empty slot with empty as the preset name and blank block grid/ signal path. Any ideas on what I may doing wrong?

100%wish there was a way to include a text file exported w ev preset so you could review all intended settings for ea block.
Notes are potentially useful, but not at all the same as a text representation of the actual settings in a preset, which i think is what's being asked for here.100%
Maybe it should be on the Wishlist for the different Fractal units to include a NOTES section even for myself or anyone to remember stuff on old presets that I've done.
Point of that tool was that it was before Helix kept track of IRs by their content instead of location, so if you moved them they'd get disconnected from presets that used them. There was also no way to know which IRs were used and which weren't, if you wanted to consolidate or move them.Notes are potentially useful, but not at all the same as a text representation of the actual settings in a preset, which i think is what's being asked for here.
A text (not binary) version of presets would allow third party tools to compare them, look for dupes, inventory block usage, and do other potentially useful things with that data.
I actually wrote a javascript tool like that for Helix back in my Helix days, it was cool. That was possible because the actual preset files were semi-human-readable, no "export" was needed. It makes the files somewhat bigger, but it's worth it IMO. Drive space is cheap.
That possibility gets a really big plus one from me.
