V10 Powerball I like it some Nevermore

had a quick break from work and decided to try and make a Jeff Loomis sounding patch
this is quick I'll redo the whole song "right" later tonight this patch took all of 15 minutes to dial up
V10 really is kicking ass.

guitars sound a bit "buried" to me though
One thing I'm having trouble with is when I mix thru reaper and I render down to a wav , it always sounds completely different
I don't get it????
 
Are you making sure when you render as a .wav you are choosing a good sample rate? Might be compressing your mix.

Also, I'm not sure about the bouncing in the software, but make sure that "normalization" is off as well. It can really do weird things to your mix.

Same here
for the last 5 or so years they were my favorite band.
never got to see them live either :(
