Whenever I discover a new music-related tool that proves useful I like to share it with others.
I first heard about the String Stretcha from Thomas Nordegg (Steve Vai's guitar tech) at Vai Academy in January. I ordered one from Amazon, but had yet to use it until today.
I'm very impressed with this handy and affordable tool, and I'd recommend everyone get one. The stretching method is very similar to how I've done it by hand for years BUT I think it's does a more even and consistent job than I do.
The website recommends stretching twice per string. Thomas says more like 30. I felt like 8-10 was pretty good for me. I used it on 2 guitars today and it worked very well.

Additionally, I learned about the Ibanez E-Jack here a few months back in a discussion about intonating Ibanez Edge bridges. The old tool from Ibanez was pretty rare and out of production for a looong time. So I've done it the hard way for many years.
If you have an Ibanez guitar with any variant of the Edge bridge you need this thing. Setting intonation has never been so easy!
This tool can also be found on Amazon...

I hope this helps somebody finds these useful, too.
