USB Connection and Recording

Hi,
I use Axe Edit with my Axe-Fx iii, and I was wondering if I can record off of the same USB connection?

So in other words, I have Axe Edit running and my PC is connected to the Axe Fx iii, and I open up a freeware program like Audacity. I can see that Axe-Fx iii shows up in sound card option......

However - When I click record in Audacity - nothing seems to happen. I was hoping that the output of my Axe-Fx iii would be captured and recorded in Audacity.

Is there a way to record on your PC (cheap DAW) the output of the Axe-Fx iii - by using the same USB connection you use for Axe-Edit???????

The USB driver is an 8x8 audio interface. Yes, you can record with it.

You should probably read the manual regarding how to use the interface.

See section 3.
