USA lead presence

Am I the only one wondering why the presence-knob doesn´t do anything ?
It only works in shift mode. I can´t remember that my MK IV behaved like that.

I wouldn't say it does nothing, but it does seem to do very little. 0 to 10 seems to cover about the same range as 0 to 2 on a typical amp's presence control (give or take).

No idea if that is how the Mark IV's actual presence control behaves or not.
