Unearthing gems in older product threads

I had a great night last night playing with Reverb predelay and it gave me that "ahhhh, yessss!!!" feeling when creating southern rock sounds.

I was hunting for something else and google steered me to an old version of Yek's How Tos' page, and the effects section of that thing is gold. I landed on a 6-year old Reverb thread with the useful info I haven't seen anywhere else, but it also had some outdated references. I was so happy about randomly finding it I registered for the wiki and updated the current Reverb page with a reference to it. It was already linked via a generic "legacy" link that only the most hardy of explorers would find, but some gems deserve to not be lost.

Here's the Reverb wiki page:

Here's the original thread that added the missing ingredient to my patches:

And the old Yek's How Tos Effects page with links to more gems I haven't explored yet:

Thanks for pointing these out again. I'd seen Yek's How To page a while ago, but I've learned SO MUCH since that time. Re-reading, especially now after really trying more of the amps, things make a lot more sense.

Yek, you are for-real-for-real a god among men. I was not aware of a "How To" wiki. So cool and helpful.
