Undo a Linked Switch

I updated my MFC (3.X) and had the reassign all my IA’s (no big deal) but while doing this decided to link some switches, a feature I never used before.

Anyway when going to the link page on the MFC it defaulted at
LinkA 42 42 42 42 42 OK fine I wanted to link switch 6&7 no problem there so I had
(LinkA 06 07 42 42 42), however I went to link a third switch but changed my mind.
The problem I can’t get that third back to 42 or even (--) Instead it cycles 1-17 minus numbers 6&7 and I don’t want it linked to anything else on the board.

Thanks John

The 42s are probably an unintended effect of updating--did you reset the MFC to defaults afterward? (Not sure if this would actually reset the 42s to --, just a guess.)

In any case you should be able to change them to -- now by starting at the far right one. MFC manual:

7. At any time, you may REMOVE the last (farthest right) switch (and only the last/farthest right switch) from the group by setting its value to “--“

Thanks Bakerman! Where can I pick up my DUMB*** award.
Soon as I read your post, forgot to reset the dam board.
All is good again!

again thank you
John
