I do mostly lurking in the forum and post the occasional response or question. I am a fairly new AXE FX user and been working with Reaper to do some recordings and learning the ins and outs.
I put together this Rhythm Guitar piece to Dokken Unchain The Night. (Link at bottom)
It is no way a tone match by any means. So when you listen keep that in mind. This is my personal tone I use on my Axe FX II XL+
I know it's not of the same caliber as many of the recordings out there. But I thought it turned out fairly well. I used a preset that I found for the intro acoustic, but I tweeked it just a bit. The only guitar parts that are me are the intro acoustic and the rhythm distortion. I have not started on the Solos or done the other acoustic parts yet.
I just wanted to post it and see what some of you thought about it and especially my tone.
I did add some EQing in Reaper.
