Ultra freezes when turning on - please help

Hi guys, new member here, hope You can help me with my little problem.
The issue is, when turning on, display turns on and all the LED's, like it normally should, but then it freezes and it stays that way. Display is on, but empty and those LED's are all full on.
At first it happened ocassionaly and after restarting unit once or twice it turns on normally, but it got worse to the point where it now happens every other time I turn it on and I have to restart it numerous times until it finally loads properly.
Anybody have any idea what this problem is?

maybe check that all internal cables are plugged in securely.

I understand there is a fan on some sort of CPU.
Is it dust free? Is there a chance it overheated in the past?

may only some capacitor are damaged because of age...
this will unload the capacitors completely...
unplug power chord and switch it on and off - replug again and switch on...
