TWO NEW CAB PACKS!

both cab packs work really good together. 59slp alloys stereo ultra res mix in first cab and with beatle + sorcerer in second cab. for 80s 90s hair metal. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hmmmmmmmm, new ownhammer promises insane mesa boogies, clark Kent new boogie cab; there is this temptation to find the perfect cab, how many how different can they all be? I really dont know that I need anything new, but am always lured into this "better than the last best thing ever" idea. Clark will yours be significantly different than current or new OH?

This afternoon I reorganised my user cabs.
I stick to UltraRes cabs, mostly.
Between the Cab Packs, OwnHammer and TAF there's so much variety and so many great IRs.

Does anyone know how the positions are defined on Cab Pack 6? Does it go no letter is closest (to cap) then moves out from A and beyond (away from cap)?

I'm not sure. But in most (not all) cases I preferred the simple "57" or "C414" file (without A, B, C etc.)
I assume that these are mixed versions of A, B, C etc.

I'm using 57, C414 and in some cases M160 (some 160s sound good, some not so good).

My Cab Pack is a different USA cab. Traditional. No one has made an IR pack of this cab yet. This is the tighter mid balanced one and not that big one everyone else is using. :)

I'm beta testing the new OH also. It's definitely different than previous OH packs. :)

Goddammit Mr. Clark! I just spent the last half hour lost in a BLUDOJAI model! A BLUDOJAI LEAD MODEL! Running in to a stereo pair of the Chocolate Cake and Control mixes and it was STUPIDLY GOOD SOUNDING. I never touch that amp model in my regular amp traversals. It's always been too bass-heavy for my tastes. I just had to dial the bass on the amp back a bit, jack some treble and presence and goose it with a drive block and...there goes 30 minutes.

I wasn't supposed to like these this much but they are really the shit man. For the mid- and high-gain stuff they're balanced super well. Really.

You've got an XL. To be honest, I'm amazed that you can reorganize your cabs in less than a week. :)

New packs sound exciting...

Any chance of there being a training video tutorial on how to best use them?? I would even pay for some one on one training :)

We released TWO new Cab Packs yesterday!

Cab Pack 6: Cabs in the Attic UltraRes™
Contains over 290 user cab files produced by Fractal Audio Systems, Trace Foster, and John Shipp and engineered by John Shipp at Vindaloo Music. The collection includes IRs of multiple speakers, each with multiple different microphones placed individually. Cabs in this pack are from the phenomenal collection of one of rock’s all-time most-celebrated bands, and some were even used on their classic recordings and live performances. The name of the pack is a play on the title of a classic album, but also appropriate since the cabs are stored in a loft above the studio. That loft was a veritable museum of great tone.

Cab Pack 7: CK's USA Traditional 4x12 - UltraRes™
Hey I know that guy!!! Yes, it's this forum's own Clark Kent, here with his first official release. 126 User Cab IRs of the USA Traditional 4x12, with separate IRs of all four speakers for 4x the prog metal goodness. This pack also includes the exceptional Alloy IR Mix Collection, with intentional inter-microphone phasing to add the unique but pleasant character we expect when using multiple microphones on a real guitar cabinet. User Cabs may be easily uploaded to your Axe-Fx II using Fractal-Bot, Axe-Edit, or Cab-Lab. This pack also includes the high resolution .IR files required to create your own original multi-mic UltraRes™ mixes in Cab-Lab.

I believe you are right. At least that's how it sounds to me as I audition them. They will normally get darker as you move away from the cap.

Out of all of the cab packs I've bought thus far (I have a lot of them), Cab Pack 6 is by far my favorite to date. A huge step forward. Great job!

promised myself i'll stop at pack 5.
if i can't find a suitable cab in those plus the ownhammer and amp factory stuff, i'll never find it.
you guys are making it very hard to keep to that promise...
