Imo. The mods done to the SD-9 on the real pedal, you can do on the axe internally, with 100x more control. Take the sonic drive model, "mod" it to your specs, then save it to your block library.
 
Pretty much everything can be done better with the flexibility and power of FAS!
But the device is much smarter than me, I just have no idea what to do to achieve that :D

I sorta just take that as inspiration and try my own thing with the controls in the axe.
 
They basically take the SD-9, increase the output because on the real pedal the originals output is quite low, make it capable of 18v operation, and shift the tonestack down to a lower frequency.
