Wish Tuner offsets: make them work for tunings other than standard

The post title pretty much describes it. Many guitarists use alternative tunings, yet the tuner offset page on FX8 only gives options for standard (EADGBE) tuning.

The offset describes how many cents to detune from standard, but still get the tuner dot to show in the middle while tuning. EADGBE is there for string reference. You can tune those string to anything you want.

Is that so? One of the tunings I use is baritone. Does the tuner know that the open E-string is the 5th string and not the 6th?

Oh I see what you mean. Sorry didn’t understand the original post.

Hmm this would require a host of different settings as there are almost infinite alternate tunings. Interesting.

Exactly. But if you could specify a number of custom tunings the way you could specify custom scales that should be possible, no?
