Tuner mutes the sound

I am running MFC101 mkiii (firmware 3.08) and XL+ (firmware v8.02).

Everytime I use the tuner function on the MFC, my system goes mute. I mean even when the tuner is disengaged, there is no sound. I have tried, changing patches but still its mute. Even though the XL+ shows receiving signal from my guitar.

Now when I use tuner on the XL+, everything works fine. it mutes the output when I am tuning the guitar and when it is disengaged, you can the output again.

Whats happening?

Check your CC# assignments in the I/O menu, Ctrl page. Make sure you don't accidentally have tuner and one of the volumes or other controllers set to the same CC#. Default CC# for tuner is 15. They are all listed in the manual as well.

Thanks so much. You were right, both tuner and the input volume had it set on 15. I changed the IV to 10 and now it works. Thanks again for your advice, appreciate it.
