Trying to understand the application of Cab-Lab with my FM9

I make my own IRs with plugins in Cubase. I used to make these and then load them into my Helix. Now with the FM9, can I still do that?

Do I still create the IR in Cubase as before and then use Cab-Lab to mess with them and import them into my FM9? I guess I should get both the stand-alone and the plug-in?

Thanks!

You can drag and drop WAV (or SYX) format IRs directly into Manage Cabs or the Cab block IR slot.

Full CabLab (not Lite) is for blending / mixing IRs.

Ok, so I could use the full version Cab-Labto blend the IRs I create and then drop them into my FM9?

Just FYI, I'm not sure CabLab is fully functional with the FM9... Sorry, I realized it's been a while since I last used it and that was on Axe Fx III.

I haven't had a need to test with FM9 yet.

I think it should work but FM9 was released after the last CabLab update.

The mixed IRs definitely work, though.

Correct, it's not working with the FM9 yet, the FM9 has been out over a year now, when are they going to release an update?
