hi -- i have a client that sent me a DI as is trying to get near this bass tone
i havent dialed a ton of bass on my axe fx 3 but i started from silent underground's metal bass pack and are sort of tweaking and dialing things back from there -- got me started at least with the split clean low - dirty high end thing
i looked into it and that guy from The Killers as far as i can tell there runs a clean low thru an SVT and then throws one or two Boss Blues Drivers in front of the other side and sends it thru a Hiwatt
im driving in with blackglass and sending the bottom thru clean and tried the top thru the Shiver Lead and the Hiwatt Brilliant. not quite getting there though. any suggestions ?
