Trouble with using a outboard reverb

Hello,

I'm having trouble with a layout configuration. I have been running my post amp and cab in parallel. Chorus. Delay, and I use Strymon Big Sky. Although this does sound hot, to me it sounds wrong to me. The delay repeats are dry. So to try fix this I run the delay into the effect loop block (Big Sky). When I do that the delays don't work. Literally like they don't exist. When I separate I'm the delay comes through loud and clear. Is there a reason for this?

Is your delay collapsing to mono? Is it a 2290 delay with phase reverse on?

I am using the 2290. Don't know about the phase reverse. I will look. What is your solution?

Turn off the phase reverse or use another delay type. Collapsing to mono is cancelling the delay.
