Triggered Pan Flips

Another thing many of us have long wanted to do is automatically pan successive hits to opposite sides. This is now possible using the Sequencer Step Advance feature in Axe-Fx III firmware 16.04. Any brief silence flips the pan position to the other side.



The example preset is attached for you. There are a lot more creative potential applications for this technique. What will you use it for?

Haha I just messed around and recorded a cover of this last week but still needed to figure out I wanted to do the intro. What timing :D
 
There's a soft synth (or 2) that I use with Midi Guitar 2. With the electric piano every note alternates sides... It's very cool!

@Admin M@ - I posted in another thread, but I went back and found the sound I was referencing and discovered that it does the flip/flop on attack but then the panning is LFO based while the notes sustain.
