FM9 Top Gun Anthem Tone

I was asked if I could make a Top Gun Anthem tone for the FM9. Here's a video sample of the tone. I will say that tone is so dead nuts simple to do on the FM9. I used the 5153 Red channel and it sounds amazing!!

I believe it's a EVH Wolfgang standard. Steve Steven's actually used a Kramer Pacer when he recorded the original song.

It's an EVH Wolfgang Standard. I had an Ernie Ball Music Man Axis for years and sold it. Could have kicked myself. This sounds and feels pretty close for the price.

I'm sure he said it was his white Charvel into his Plexi, but he did a fair bit of coke in them days so his memory might not be what it was

In the podcast interview I watched with him he said he used a Kramer pacer when he was asked to come up with the theme song for top gun. I'm not debating I'm just going by what he said in the interview but you may be right on those cooked brain cells lol

Sometimes he's been quoted on a couple of things, so who knows. Maybe it wasn't the coke, maybe it was the hairspray to get his hair so big
