Too much "sizzle" in the match

So I tried tone match today. It does capture the basic structure of tone well, so I could live with it as-is, but the non-ideal part about it is there seems to be too much "top end" sizzle, and I can hear that in the mix.

I'm capturing from isolated guitar tracks through USB, using roughly the same model of the amp as the original. No cab. No effects. Setting smoothing to 0 tames it some, but not enough. I have to tweak the knobs on the amp model to get it to sound "right".

Tweaked, the match sounds pretty great though, certainly better than what I was able to dial in by ear.

I think the prescribed procedure is to now do another tone match, now that the amp has been tweaked. Then repeat the cycle again if necessary (if memory serves...).
