Tonematch Acoustic (Gypsy Jazz content)

I recorded a demo for a new gypsy jazz group I'm playing with using my mobile Pro Tools setup. For my guitar, I went completely piezo through the AxeFX, with SPDIF into my Tascam interface. However, last week I did a tonematch on my guitar using a nice tube condenser mic referenced against my piezo pickup. The difference is amazing. It pretty much sounds like a mic now. My guitar is the one panned slightly right in the mix.

Impressive!!! Oh my f****** god.
This sounds so much in the room.
Please reveal to us the secret how you achieve this sound.
Probably the best piezo acoustic sound I've ever heard.

Love the Troublant Bolero!

In fact, now I'm listening to Double Jeu. Great compositions. Brilliant playing. Thanks for posting!

Well, little dirty secret for the "in the room sound:" I also had a stereo pair of mics recording the room, blended in gently. However, the tonematch itself does have a decent amount of that quality to it. The mics mostly picked up the clarinet and the percussiveness of the guitars and double bass. The actual tone/pitch is from the DI signal.
