found a nice direct recording of the Tonebender on the net.

tweaked the Bender Fuzz accordingly.

It's not completely fuzzed out, and has a weird 'All Along The Watchtower' vibe to it, at least for me.

The Tonebender circuit was build by 3 or 4 companies, then you have the different resistor and cap values used, parts with high tolerances themselfes and the incredibly inconsistent germanium transistors - I asume it's safe to say that there are no 2 Tonebenders out there that sound exactly alike and that there is a huge spread in tone, output, character etc.

Nevertheless, it is quite possible to clone any of those fuzzes with the Axe to a point where the difference is neglectible and the sim starts to sound better to your ears than the 'real thing'.
