Tone Recipe (needed): Sheryl Crow - If It Makes You Happy

For the electric part of the main riff - anyone have any thoughts on this one? I can't seem to nail it down - maybe because there is an acoustic and at least a couple different electrics. Anyone have thoughts as to amps and effects to try on this one? Can seem to find that right mix of clean & crunch, especially the droning going on from the low strings. Thanks for any help.

Edit - maybe I need a Tele to get there - I'm trying it w/ a Strat.

For any Sheryl Crow recipe, you'll need a few drops of lifeblood squeezed from the late great Kevin Gilbert.

You might try the 'patches' forum for this BTW.

But I might try Dual amps, Dual cabs stereo (enhancer maybe?). EQ one of them for that 'drone'. Offset the delays on each for 'thickness'.
