Tone quest - headphones or monitors

Just a general question for everyone.

What does everyone prefer while making a tone - headphones or studio monitors?

I have a Headrush FRFR as well, but that is too bassy to be relied upon!

I use my Focal studio monitors to dial in tones, never headphones. Might be good for quiet practicing but for me tones never translate live that were created on headphones.

I have my frfr tones dialed in and I’m super happy with them. But I’m struggling A LOT to find a way to make my iem tone acceptable.

Studio monitors here. Used Behringer 2030a's for years, never had any problems with presets translating well to live venues. I just upgraded to Focal Alpha 65's and am quite impressed at the difference, bigger difference than expected given the price point.
