You can do that, but you wouldn't get the sound of the cab into the match, so you'd have to use a Cab block along with the tone match.

Also, make sure you've got a real cab connected to your amp, or you're likely to fry it.

Thanks! That's kind of my goal though, I don't want the cab sound. I run the Axe FX III into the QSC 4.2 and then out to a marshall 4x12. Im just trying to get a good amp sim of the Rivera Knucklehead Tre so I can use it like any other amp sim and share it for those that want it. Im completely clueless on amp matching, so I dont even really know where to start.
