Timeout Rant!!

Can you please tell me where I can get a power supply for the MFC-101?

Also, is there anywhere in the north of England where it is possible to get an approved service of Fractal products?

Thank you.

The back of the MFC is stenciled with 9VAC but you can power the MFC with 9VDC if you have that available. That's what I do - I use a 9VDC onespot.
Back when I got a used MFC-101 it didn't come with a power supply. I contacted Charlie at Fractal support and he confirmed there is a diode bridge/rectifier that converts the 9VAC to DC inside the MFC. He said you're good to go with 9VDC.
Been using a 9VDC Onespot for 4 years, through a 7 pin MIDI cable with absolutely no issues.

Just keep in mind that the MFC power jack has AC dimension center pin:

So a 9VDC plug, with a 2.1mm 'hole' won't fit over the center pin on the MFC jack or the center pin on the jack on the back of the AxeFX. If you wanted to plug a 9VDC source into these jacks, you'd need to replace the plug with a plug that has a 2.5mm 'hole'.

Hope that helps.
