Settings and why? ThxI like a light gate at input and another post amp to tighten things up.
Elaborate on the settings for this?My daddy's name is Heinz, and he makes old world smoked meats and sausages! Really! Www.kramersausage.com
The new gate settings can remove the 60 cycle or 50 cycle hum of the electricity supply.
Settings and why? Thx
Apologies for the stupid question but what settings would equal no gate at all.
+1, used to be around -60dB, now needs -40With the new noise reducer gate, I'm now defaulting to -40 threshold, Ratio 2, Attack 1ms, Release 20ms.
It's great because it doesn't kill the notes ringing out, while removing quite a bit of noise in my environment. It's great. This is an extreme example:

The other real beauty that may be overlooked is that we have channels on the input block. So if you have scenes in a preset that are clean to monster high gain, you can have a gate that is customized to up to 4 levels of gain (4 channels).
I think turning Threshold all the way down will actually turn it off. At least for the Input block gate.Turn the ratio all the way down

Been there, done that, bought the T-shirt!You are correct, sir! I recalled the wrong parameter in my head.
