Things I've Learned after 3 Days with Axe-Fx

Head straight for the EQ and get started with great tones and sessions. Take your time on the rest. It will all come together.

I like the workflow of using the EQ after the amp, before the cab because I can click on the block and make changes right there. I try to find the amp EQ settings I like and then leave them alone. That's just what works for me, YMMV. In truth, I rarely tweak a preset once I have it sounding the way I want.

Had a friend who plays in a few local cover bands come over to hear the Axe-FX / CLR for the first time today... He said "It sounds like a full-stack, maybe bigger, but even clearer".

He left a little in shock, I think he thought I was talking out my a$$
