Shawshank is great, but I still think Cool Hand Luke is the best prison-centric movie of all time.

Much more akin to how life is in my view, without that prescribed and mandated happy ending.

Shawshank is great.

I have a warm spot for the Walken version of The Dead Zone. I think it stands up well.

Silver Bullet was also a good but under the radar King adaptation.

I keep waiting for someone to tackle Eyes of the Dragon. That book was so good, I was sad when it ended.

Maximum Overdrive is great. Between the jester truck and the AC/DC soundtrack, I never mind having it on. Same for Christine. Original Carrie is great, IT sucked; especially the new movies. Really, if you take all his movies, they run between completely horrible to brilliant.

In general, I've enjoyed reading King more than watching King.
