The "real life" Axe-Fx - Fredrik Thordendal's Studio (Meshuggah)

Cab Pack Wizard
Just stumbled upon this and found the video below that essentially says Fredrik's been building a "real life" Axe-Fx for his studio. He can connect any amp into any cab that he has.

Opinions? I think this is probably the coolest thing I've seen in a while. :)

A nice visual representation of what we can achieve with our black boxes :p

Even if I had the money and the space, I don't think I'd go that overboard. Still cool though.

Opinion? Yet another testament that if you keep going at something for long enough, it doesn't matter how ridiculous, it becomes cool again. But it is ridiculous nonetheless. The amount of cabling alone, as in custom made cables and plugs, probably costs more then an Axe FX. I know, because I once had to make 50 custom cables for a rack and it cost me hundreds of euros.
