The Paradox of Guitar Tone

I stumbled across this today I'm not sure if you've already seen it ?

Anyway, here it's explained how to get a great big tone from your guitar using the master volume on the amp, how speaker compression kicks in, how it distorts, pick attack and power amp tube distortion all work together to deliver it.

All these parameters are in the Axe FX and have been mentioned on the forums for some time, but for me this gave it a lot more context as a reference point for me to work on.

I hope you find it interesting.

Cool. Leon has at least one video on finding the MV sweet spot, and Cliff has spoken volumes about MV (captured in wiki).

I'm really loving the new speaker compression (in the 0.5-2 range) and a bit of speaker compliance (10-50%).
