I would have to agree. With utmost respect to both you and Ray Davies this is has little to nothing to do with the Kinks. A 'tad' VH maybe with the drumming.
Honestly had you not put the title of the song in the thread I would not have made the connection and probably would have thought it was just a riff. But also, there were no vocals?
