Hi guys,
Through the years there have been some guilty-guitar-pleasure-dreams that somehow involved a Flying V, a Firebird or an Explorer.
Especially the Explorer had a special place in those dreams (remember the cover of the EVH Women and Children First LP?), but I somehow always found the Explorer's tones to be a bit one dimensional and never found one that could set me on fire 'in real life'.
Until now... highly inspired by the clips from @Burgs, I was totally GAS-ing for the Lee Malia Explorer (original pickup choices, coil split, dummy coil, great esthetics, and it would not even break the bank!). But they were nowhere to find in Europe, until recently, where I found one in the UK and had it send to me this week.
The last one in the EU?
Here's a short clip of some of the sounds it can create, with obviously a heavy ending to the clip using @Burgs amazing "Brownies" preset!
