tempo sync

if i have a tc flashback x4 hooked up to the midi out on the fx8 will it sync to the tempo if i tap it in on the fx8? thanks

No, it will not work. The FX8 does not transmit MIDI Beat clock (aka MIDI Tempo).

The FX8 would allow you to set up a MIDI block and footswitch to transmit CC messages, but unfortunately the Flashback does not respond to CC messages.
