Tail noise that’s left over from previous use of preset

Is there a way to prevent the annoying
leftover tail or strange noise that comes when you switch patches. I was scrolling through random patches or presets and would click on a preset and and it’s like there was a leftover tail from last line it was used which may hav been months ago. Axe fx3
I want the spillover on and do have a preset I made using 2 amps to switch between the clean and dirty with now gap or noise.

We need more information to give a definitive answer.

Which presets were doing that? Share two with us that duplicate the problem, as that shouldn’t happen … unless you have global spillover enabled in the preferences? But even then it wouldn’t be sound from months ago if you have turned off the unit in-between.

If you have spillover on and both preset from and preset to use reverb, you will hear it.
