Synth Block Glitch?

Hi guys,

I seem to be having some issues with the synth block. I currently have it set up to behave like the Steve Stevens raygun, and I trigger it with an external switch.
Here is where my issue seems to be:
When I go to that preset, I get this quick "chirp" sound. I have tried different switches and configurations (Momentary and Latching) in the setup menu. I can't seem to find what I am doing wrong. I have the same configuration on my AxeFX, and never had this issue with any controller (Roland FC300, All Access, and MFC).
I am really stumped and not sure where else to look.

Is the block in the bypass state by default? Sounds like it's loading engaged and then an IA or external controller is flipping it to bypassed as the preset loads.

Yes. It's bypassed by default.
Upon further investigation, it is loading briefly and disengaging upon preset changes. Now, my question is how do I get it to stop doing it?
