Suhr Ssh+ pickups your thoughts?

When Pete Thorn started putting his Thornbucker in an H-S-S guitar he found he wanted it a little hotter w/ the 25 1/2 scale length.

I think my original thoughts were that I wanted to hear about the plus model. I thought it was only designed for the longer scale but it’s good to know that’s it’s not the same as the regular thornbucker for the low output although people here are saying they open up when you need them to.
 
I think that the thornbuckers are awesome. Easily prefer them over the SSH and SSV pickups. They split great too and offer very usable tones in parallel. I have thornbuckers in several of my guitars now and in the years that I've been using them, have not come across anything as good and consistent.
