Funny, I first thought of the ending solo - so when you started this I was like "what?" for a moment...

Nice job though. I haven't heard it in a while but you really seem to nail it.
 
ahhh... the memories :) I want to ask you to go back and play all my 80's favorites... but I guess I'll just be patient :) Always fun to see you play these. You mentioned like liked the tone... a couple tones that stuck out to me were Craig Chaquico's solos on the Winds of Change album (sounded like likes of octivizing or doubling and that X100 Carvin amp sound. That the guitar work from Dennis DeYoung's first solo album Desert Moon. Tom Dziallo had what I'm guessing was a heavy compression, but it stood out as a tone from just about anything else at the time.
