try to pull out the stutter effect periphery does on masamune at 3:55 Periphery - Masamune - YouTube I found an old forum posting with a download but when I tried to upload it to my axe-fx II it gave me an error. Never thought about doing using the delay hold function before but you're link gave me an idea.

One way to go about it would be to start with a tremolo block set to square wave, then feed that into the delay block and turn the hold on. All after the amp/cab though.

Not really sure though how you would get it to automate. Ideally if you wanted a stutter of say 100ms, the hold would engage 100ms or 200ms after turning the tremolo on. Maybe there's some way to do it with a send/return loop?
