stutter effect for looper

has anyone tried this yet with the looper? I've read that you can assign the play button to a momentary switch
and it restarts the loop. does anyone currently do this. and if so how? thanks :)

There seems to be some bug issues with the looper block at the moment in the latest firmware (according to some users). However:

Yes it is possible. You don´t really need to connect an momentary switch if you want to get really quick stutter. Any modifier will do. LFO or sequencer, perhaps (Run) triggered via envelope to match it to your playing...

Pretty simple actually. You've got the "buttons" on first page, on second page some of them are duplicated. The symbol next to them shows you that they could be assigned an modifier. Go to one of them and (double?)hit enter and chose your modifier controller...

Thanks man I've done this but I think its the bug from the update because the modifier doesn't save after assigning.

I've tried to change the play button to a momentary switch in the IA edit menu of the mfc. But I think I'm doing it wrong? Should I be using a cc# instead?

I guess we'll have to wait until the bugs are squashed. Regarding your MFC, I'm unable to guide in any way. I've got no first hand experience with it. Maybe someone else could chime in here?

Hey Guys,
Sorry for not chiming in sooner. I just tested this and it seems that something changed behind the scenes that broke the attachment of Modifiers on page 2 of the Looper.
I'm sure it's something simple and we'll get it fixed quickly.
