Stupid Question but I had to ask: Axe-FX as mic pre

My next purchase is a Great River mic pre, unless someone can tell me that the Axe is miraculously a mic pre too.
 
I've never tried it, but if you're thinking it's going to do what a GR will, that's wishful thinking.
I'm sure the converters are better than a lot of prosumer gear though.
 
Maybe a future product.. like the liquid channel... but much BETTER!


Think about twenty or more great mic pres at your disposal... in pairs...!!!!
