Jim Croce played strapless. He said he started doing so in the early days when bar fights would send beer bottles and bodies across the stage and he had to move in a flash.

And I'd rather hear shitty singing than pitch corrected shitty singing.

had some guy at my last gig, opening band ask me to borrow some picks.... wtf. who goes to a gig without picks.. i have a coffe can full of them, no shit, like 10 gross of them.

Just about every gig I forget to grab any picks. I do my checks to make sure I'm not forgetting anything ridiculous like my guitars or pedalboard case, and usually only realise when I'm at the venue that I didn't grab any picks.

That said, I always have a couple in my wallet, and it didn't take long for me to figure out that my bag full of picks should probably live in the pocket of my main guitar case.

I keep a minimum of three picks in every case. Always. Cheap insurance.
