Inspired

Heya folks... Last week marked the 34th anniversary of Iron Maiden's Somewhere in Time... I decided to have a little fun and record my own cover version of the song. I didn't find a drum stem for this so I just went ahead and put together my own drum track with Superior Drummer.

Axe FX III for all both guitars and bass. For the guitar, I was fortunate to stumble across superdave0422's Gallien Krueger 250RL tonematch https://axechange.fractalaudio.com/detail.php?preset=7803

For bass I used the Steve Harris patch I made a couple of months back, although, a big part of the sound is a FRESH set of flatwounds, something I did not have at this time, so it probably sounds a bit darker than Steve's usual sound.

Lastly, to tie it together, I must admit I did add some minor EQ, parallel compression and tape emulation/limiting to the master bus, so what you hear in the mix, is not necessarily how the presets will sound on their own.

Nonetheless, I hope you dig it, and if you like what you hear, I'd really appreciate the like + sub, doing my best to build the channel. Many thanks, and UP THE IRONS!!!

../Enjoyably impressive!
Great music; dynamics/vocals/playing in the moment..
.Media; an attention grabber... all in all ...well done. Thanks!

That is awesome man! Great performance, especially the vocals. And you definitely nailed the lead tone (and great playing by the way)

Nice work. Great playing and vocals too. Keeping up with Bruce Dickinson is a tall order.
