I recorded and produced a song for my good friends at This Rite.
All Guitars and Bass were recorded with the Axe Fx II.

Dual amp. One with a some drive and one with only a tiny bit drive. Split and filtered the signals, so that the highs >1,3kHz go to the driven amp and the frequencies <1,3kHz go to the other amp. Of course there is compression and drive pedal in front. And some noise gates
But the real work started in the DAW. I reamped the bass with slightly crunchier settings and mixed those two tracks together (filtered out some noisy frequencies) and then mixed them together to fit in the mix.
