he has a new house with a new studio 'the harmony hut'
i want to say i saw on the vai forum his house was listed a few years ago maybe 5
 
I mean, it doesnt seem that outrageous of a price due to the area and having a studio? Thats pretty neat though.
 
........... or rural Gloucestershire for that matter.

I don't know much (anything) about recording studios but I would guess a lot of the gear in there is super expensive and soon to be obsolete, in which case it seems a bit of a liability and therefore severely limit potential purchasers. He's probably better off selling the gear separately and converting the studio into a home movie theatre and/or gymnasium. He'd probably have a ton of eager buyers then and maybe get a higher price. Damn, I should've been an estate agent, sorry realtor :p
 
Wow! When I was growing up a fairly nice house in an estate in Ireland could cost nearly $1,000,000. Crazy how things have changed.
