Stereo with XLR

I am not sure what's going on, but when I plug in two XLR outputs I lose certain delays. It is only until I unplug one of the output cables or switch to sum/copy L to R that I can hear it.

Also, when I use unbalanced cables I can't hear anything. Any ideas?

Could you be using the 2220 delay that is not mono compatible? Try changing the delay type.
Thanks
Pauly

The Axe is ready for stereo output if Output 1 mode = stereo.

What's connected at the other end of the XLR cables?

I'm going to guess it's a mono FOH. :)

The 2290 at default settings will cancel your delay if you collapse your signal to mono. You have to turn off the phase inversion, but that kills much of the 2290's special vibe, which can only be experienced in stereo.

I am going into a UA Apollo. When I connect Output 1 (L )+(R) from XLR's into preamp channels 1 and 2 it loses delay. If I use single XLR from Output 1 (L) then it sounds fine. Am I doing something wrong?
