2-On Fractal go to Setup; Midi/Remote; External

3-On External Control 1 put CC#16 (if you want another number go to step 1 then change the ´´Data´´ value)

4-Go to Fractal Edit and try for example a Wah pedal. Right click on Control knob then set source 1 as ´¨External 1´´

So we know that TRS mode should work, right?
Youtube says TRS-to-midi works:

I was trying it with my usual MIDI cable, which was connected to Chocolate with MIDI-to-TRS connector. Nothing worked, so I guess the issue is the connector itself. I'll buy another cable and will try again.

Did anyone continue experiments? @overture1922 @rodbettencourt ?

I tried to connect 2 Chocolates using TRS-2-TRS but it didn't work either. Now I'll try to connect them using MIDI Y-splitter https://aliexpress.ru/item/10050013...lit.4.3a7c4aa69AoWo8&sku_id=12000015725982733 or maybe some kind of serial connectors using MIDI https://aliexpress.ru/item/10050067...lit.3.3a7c4aa69AoWo8&sku_id=12000040746920333

Any further ideas? :)
Maybe https://aliexpress.ru/item/10050057...lit.6.3a7c4aa69AoWo8&sku_id=12000034333467982 to connect two Chocolates using TRS outputs?

My target is to build the OMG15 using 3 Chocolates and FM3 :)

I don´t have experience with this, but afaik there is two types of midi to trs cable:
Would you be able to test it yourself?
It should work, no reason for it not to work!

Currently I'm using one Chocolate into MIDI IN of Behringer FCB1010 and enjoy tons of buttons and features available, but we need to find a way to use those TRS connections to be able to connect at least three Chocolates per one Fractal.

Yep, appeared pretty much on the day I placed my order :D
I'm thinking of getting it to see if it will work as a part of the hive.
So far no luck in getting it work by cable.

UPDATE: how to use it with TRS to midi cable.

You will need a MIDI-TRS type A cable.

If you have previously configured the Mvave Chocolate with Bluetooth, all the parameters will remain the same both on the the Mvave and the Fractal. Be sure to select ´´TRS-MIDI´´ on the Cubesuit.

Was thinking of grabbing one a few months ago, but procrastinated. Could use it to give me a couple buttons for preset up/down and scene up/down on the computer side of my office/music room so navigating presets is a little easier when working in FM9-Edit....

Please tell us if you find any news!
I spent an hour trying to make the old Chocolate and new Chocolate Plus to build a pair. Nothing works so far.
I think I tried it all - direct TRS to mini-jack (Plus has it), two different kinds of USB cables between them with all possible options for on/off/host switches, attempts to establish BT connection between them, you name it. No cigar.
Will wait until more MIDI splitters will be delivered by our good man Ali and will experiment more.

It's quite surprising that they implemented USB host for other devices but their own device doesn't support the mode.
Oh well!

I wasn't happy with the Bluetooth receiver; it sometimes fails. So I bought a new one, hoping it would be better in this regard, but I found it to be the same. Now, I'm only using it with the MIDI trs cable. On the other side, it comes with new features, like the ability to turn off the Bluetooth light by pressing the B and C buttons for 3 seconds (which for me is great, as that blinking Bluetooth LED was really annoying). At one point, I noticed that both receivers paired with each other, but I didn’t investigate further.
